Laura has worked with InSNC/NSA since she was an intern during her senior year of high school, in 2009. She went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a B.Sc in Special Education. Laura holds Special Education (Mild-Moderate Disabilities) and Elementary Education teaching certificates.
Her experience includes working with children with ASD as well as other diagnoses, in both the classroom and ABA therapy settings, as well as in her current role as Case Specialist. Laura has acquired certifications in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, RMTi, Brain Gym, and Touch for Health as part of her professional development at NSA.
She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and hopes to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
When Laura is not working, she enjoys indoor and outdoor rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with her fiancé, Luke, and two rescue dogs, Jacy and Eleanor.
